Editorial Policies

Every calculator on Toodum follows the same review process. This page documents it so you know what to expect from our numbers.

Formula sourcing

Each formula is cross-checked against at least one primary source: a peer-reviewed paper, a standard industry reference (NIST, ISO, IEEE, NFPA…), or a textbook in widespread academic use. Wikipedia is a starting point, never the final word.

Health and finance disclaimers

Medical, veterinary, drug-dosage, and financial calculators are educational tools — not professional advice. They reproduce widely-published formulas with the assumptions stated in the article alongside each tool. For decisions with real consequences, consult the appropriate professional.

Updates and corrections

When a formula gets revised in its source literature, the affected calculator is updated and the change is noted in the page footer. If you spot an error, the contact form is the fastest path to a fix.

Independence

No sponsored calculators. No affiliate links woven into formulas. No paid placement in search results or category lists. The numbers do not depend on who's paying.
